Hardly any technical process can do without a stirring process. The stirring tool and its precise placement in the stirring tank play a central role. Ideally, the stirrer shaft and the blades are arranged in the middle. Due to the geometry and dimensions of the blades, an optimal distance to the bottom of the vessel can be defined, which is decisive for goal-oriented work.

The shape of the stirring blade has a great influence on the type of motion within the vessel. It moves the medium in different primary flow directions (axial, radial, tangential), which, depending on the vessel, viscosity and composition of the medium (e.g. solid content), makes a considerable difference in achieving the desired homogeneity.

Each stirring task is different - just like the requirements for the stirring system you are looking for

Particularly in applications with very viscous media, it is important to have a stirring tool in use that enables the mixing process up to the edges of the vessel. This explains the shape of the anchor-type impeller and the width of the stirring blade of 60 mm.

The AR 19 anchor-type impeller is ideal for vessels with the following characteristics:

  • ideal vessel diameter: 67 mm
  • ideal ground clearance: 2 mm
  • ideal filling level: 67 mm
  • ideal volume: 200 ml

The anchor-type impeller consists of a PTFE blade and a PTFE-coated stainless steel shaft. The stainless-steel core ensures the stability of the stirrer shaft and the secure attachment in the overhead stirrer. The diameter in the clamping area is 6.5 mm; the stirrer shaft with the thick-walled PTFE coating has a diameter of 8 mm.

Due to its anti-adhesive property (non-stick coating), the anchor-type impeller is easy to clean and can be used up to a maximum application temperature of 250°C.

Our half-moon impeller is specially designed for use in round-bottom flasks with NS 29/32 or larger. Combined with the vacuum-tight PTFE stirrer guide, you get a completely tight reaction system.

The half-moon impeller HR 18 works best up to 1,700 ml.

The half-moon impeller consists of a PTFE blade and a PTFE-coated stainless steel shaft. The stainless steel core ensures the stability of the stirrer shaft and secure attachment in the overhead stirrer without the risk of breakage of conventional glass stirrer shafts. The diameter in the clamping area is 6,5 mm; the stirrer shaft with the thick-walled PTFE coating has a diameter of 8 mm.

Due to its anti-adhesive property (non-stick coating), the half-moon impeller is easy to clean and can be used up to a maximum application temperature of 250°C.

Due to its stirrer blade dimensions, the PR 39 pitched-blade impeller is ideal for homogenizing very viscous media in vessels with the following characteristics:

  • ideal vessel diameter: 188- 375 mm
  • ideal ground clearance: 38- 75 mm
  • ideal filling level: 188- 375 mm
  • ideal volume: 5,200 - 41,400 ml

The pitched-blade impeller consists of a PTFE mixing blade and a PTFE-coated stainless steel shaft. The stainless-steel core ensures the stability of the stirrer shaft and the secure attachment in the overhead stirrer. The diameter in the clamping area is 6,5 mm; the stirrer shaft with the thick-walled PTFE coating has a diameter of 8 mm.

Due to its anti-adhesive property (non-stick coating), the pitched-blade impeller is easy to clean and can be used up to a maximum application temperature of 250°C.
