IKA magnetic stirrers are the world's best-selling professional lab mixers. There is a complete range of IKA magnetic stirrers to handle various quantities, either with or without heating capabilities. Used with open or closed vessels, IKA magnetic hot plate stirrers easily master even complex tasks. For example, they precisely and effectively regulate the set temperature with the help of a contact thermometer. They also enable multiple syntheses in up to 36 vessels simultaneously. Because IKA magnetic stirrers require 25% less energy than other manufacturer's products; IKA devices are good for the environment and also keep your energy costs low. Functionality, safety, and longevity are the main focus in the development of IKA's magnetic stirrers. IKA is introducing two new magnetic stirrers, the IKA Plate (RCT digital) and the C-Mag HS 7 control, both with a lifetime warranty.

| The IKA Plate (RCT digital) has a round top made of aluminum alloy. It stirs volumes of up to 20l (H2o) and runs at speeds ranging from 50-1500rpm. Some of the features are: IKA emphasizes ease-of-use by design simplicity: reduced forms and operating elements meet the modernity of smartphones: IKA not only focuses on hardened glass because of visibility, chemical resistance and safety, it also optically changes the game of a magnetic stirrer with a glass surface. The IKA Plate (RCT digital) improves over time with regular firmware updates. Using Alnico magnetic technology, the IKA Plate (RCT digital) achieves excellent temperature stability and high residual induction. It also provides for maximum vortex. The integrated timer and counter function supports the control of kinetics and sensitive reactions; the IKA SmartTemp® function protects users intelligently and predictably. The new magnetic stirrer RCT 5 digital with 850 W offers significantly more power making it an ideal device for demanding stirring tasks up to 20 l. Multifunctional menu Whether determining the direction of rotation, timer functions or sequence programming - the stirring process can be programmed individually from beginning to end. In this way, the reaction runs reliably and safely even without monitoring. Scratch-resistant ceramic coating RCT 5 digital has a rectangular set-up plate with a white, ceramic coating. It is less scratch-prone than conventional magnetic stirrer plates. Safety features The display is made of chemical resistant and hardened glass which increases the safety of the user. In addition, a symbol in the display warns in case of a hot surface and therefore protects from burnings. The safety circuit can be adjusted up to 370 °C. PATENTED WORLD FIRST: Safety magnetic stirrer with heating and integrated balance. Clear, multilingual TFT display makes it easy to set all parameters. Integrated temperature control feature enables connection of a temperature probe, placed directly in the medium, to control medium temperature with a high degree of precision. PT 100 temperature sensor is included. The stainless steel composite hot plate, reaching a temperature of 340 °C, enables rapid heating. RS 232 and USB interfaces enable pc control of the magnetic stirrer and documentation of all test parameters. "Lock" function prevents inadvertent changes of speed and temperature settings. As a safety feature, the current temperature is displayed when the unit is switched off but surface is still hot. Below 50 °C the display turns off automatically.

RCT basic is suitable for stirring tasks up to 20 l (H2O) and reaches a hotplate temperature of up to 310°C. With the connection option for an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 included in delivery), the temperature can be measured and controlled directly in the reaction medium. Thanks to perfect insulation of the aluminum heating plate, maintenance-free EC motor and electronic switching power supply, RCT basic features excellent energy efficiency as well as reduced self-heating of the heating plate during stirring operation, thus contributing to a more sustainable laboratory. Safe, robust and compliant with standards RCT basic contains the proven safety features for IKA magnetic stirrers.
