Released on ATAGO's 70th Anniversary, the PAL-LOOP is a special model with new Continuous Measurement feature to give you extra method tailored to meet your needs - select either the new continuous and conventional single measurement mode. Since the measurement range of PAL-LOOP is Brix 0.0 - 85.0%, it can be used to measure almost any samples. |
The PAL-1 works perfectly in measuring almost any fruit juice, food, or drink, such as soup, sauce, ketchup, tomato sauce, fruit, low-sugar jam, or marmalade. PAL series comes with Data Transmission Function with NFC（Near Field Communication)technology. Data history can be accessed by bringing PAL-NFC to any Android device or PC-linked USB NFC Reader.
PAL-1 BLT / i is equipped with Bluetooth® and can transfer data to the "dedicated app ATAGO Logger", that can be downloaded for free from the App Store |
Since the measurement range of PAL-2 is Brix 45.0 - 93.0%, it can measure various high concentration samples such as jam, marmalade, jelly, honey and concentrated juice. The International Protection class of PAL-2 is IP65, so it can clean thick samples under running water. When boiling jam or marmalade are measured, the PAL-2 gives steady measurement values as the measurement is repeated for a few times. It is very useful since "zero-setting" (calibration) can be done with water. The feature of PAL-1 are fully covered by NEW PAL-2 |

ATAGO Releases NFC (Near Field Communication) Equipped Refractometers
In addition to the Bluetooth enabled refractometers, ATAGO ® released refractometers with near-field communication (NFC) technology for the ease of storing and sharing data with phones, tablets, laptops, and other NFC-equipped devices. Simply by tapping NFC-equipped devices, up to 100 measurement data with the date and time are transferred in a matter of seconds. The NFC solution is simpler and prevents typical human errors in data collection and data generation.
With ever evolving movement of profound change in how human interact with machine automation, this upgrade seizes one’s time to write down measurements with a pen or paper.

Revolutionary new External Light interference (ELI) feature Patented When intense light penetrates the prism of a digital refractometer, the light waves interfere with the sensor, which may lead to inaccurate measurements. To ensure accurate measurement results, the PAL is programmed with the ELI function which displays the [nnn] warning message when intense direct light is detected. Forming a habit of shading the sample stage with your hand and re-pressing the START key (when the warning message from the ELI function is displayed) will ensure accurate measurement results each time |
