Care Information

Please note that Arc Flash helmets should be disposed of after their expiry date. The expiry date is stamped on the helmet and it applies to all its elements (shell, visor, harness, strap, etc).

Arc Flash helmets have an expiry date because exposure to UV radiation, temperature, humidity, etc will degrade the integrity and protection that the helmet provides over time. The life of the helmet is determined by prescribed testing from the Notified Body and following that testing the item is then issued with a conformity assessment and certificate.
