Elma Lab Clean A10
elma lab clean A10 (ELC A10) is a mildly alkaline, foam-inhibited cleaning concentrate for the dip & splash cleaning of instruments in labs and workshops. Suitable for labware and instruments from metal, glass, ceramic and plastic materials, glassware. Removes gentle markings, labels lime soap deposits (prevents from its redeposition), greases and oils (incl. greases for ground-glass joints and weakly resinified greases), fingerprints and dust.

Elma Lab Clean A25
elma lab clean A25 (ELC A25) is a liquid, strongly alkaline, foam-inhibited cleaning concentrate for ultrasonic, immersion and splash cleaning of alkali-resistant parts and medical devices such as medical and laboratory instruments, implants etc. made of metal (including titanium), glass, ceramic and plastic. elma lab clean A25 (ELC A25) removes markings, labels, greases from ground-glass joints, resinified & tarry residues, lime soap deposits (and prevents from its redeposition), blood, saliva, protein-, bone- & tissue-residues, fats/greases, oils, polishing & grinding residues, fingerprints & dust. For strong/thick tarry residues the alkalinity of the cleaning solution may be amplified by the addition of potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide or use the ultrasonic cleaner A26.
Not suitable for aluminium, magnesium, alloys of light metals and alkali-sensitive glass. Risk of tarnishing (dark discoloration) when used for nonferrous heavy metals (copper, brass and other copper alloys). The compatibility of the parts to be cleaned with elma lab clean A25 (ELC A25) must be checked before use

Elma Lab Clean N10
elma lab clean N10 (ELC N10) is a liquid, neutral, foam-inhibited cleaning concentrate for ultrasonic, immersion and splash cleaning of sensitive parts and medical devices such as medical and laboratory instruments, implants etc. made of metal (incl. aluminium and light metal alloys), glass, ceramic and plastic. Removes gentle emulsions, marking and label residues, lime soap deposits (prevents from its redeposition), aqueous cooling emulsions from mechanical treatments, light greases and oils, fingerprints and dust.
Check magnesium alloys before application.
Elma Lab Clean S15
elma lab clean S15 (ELC S15) is a mildly acidic concentrate for ultrasonic cleaning and passivation of medical instruments, implants, lab instruments and work pieces. It is suitable for ultrasonic cleaning of stainless steel, non-ferrous and light metals e.g. aluminium, glass and plastics as well as for the “passivation” of stainless and less chromium-containing steels. Brass and copper alloys are brightened up. Removes mineral grease and oil, oxide layers (e.g. verdigris), rust and lime. The “passivating” action is based on the selective dissolution of oxidized iron atoms from the surface and the resulting increase of relative chromium content there. An eventual graying can be counteracted by addition of elma beizzusatz S1 to the passivation solution (ratio: concentrate elma lab clean S15 (ELC S15) : elma beizzusatz S1 = 10 : 1)
Elma Lab Clean S20
elma lab clean S20 (ELC S20) is a liquid, acidic, foam-inhibited cleaning concentrate for ultrasonic, immersion and splash cleaning of acid-resistant parts and medical devices such as medical and laboratory instruments, implants etc. made of stainless steel, glass, ceramic and plastic.
elma lab clean S20 (ELC S20) removes mineral contamination like lime scales, lime soaps and other Ca- and Mgbound contamination, metal oxides (rust) and flux residues after soldering, mineral oils and greases (remove animal and vegetable oil and fat using alkaline cleaner before), fingerprints and dust. Brightens tarnished metallic surfaces (but not temper colours). The product is suitable for the acidic fundamental cleaning of medical instruments and (ceramic) implants. Fundamental cleaning of medical instruments is recommended periodically, e.g. half-yearly. Rusty instruments should
first be separated and cleaned with elma lab clean S20 (ELC S20). Dark tarnishes from disinfecting/cleaning agents after sterilization and dark traces from blood after sterilization are removed.
Not suitable for aluminium, magnesium and alloys of light metals. Check acid-sensitive glassy materials before use.
Attention: tarnishing may happen with different metals in the cleaning bath!
