The surface of silica was covalently bound with amylose - tris (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)

IA solvent-resistant chiral column, the amylose-tris (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) covalently bonded to the surface of the silica gel.

Unrestricted use of solvents, a wide range of dissolution conditions, the use of any miscible solvent as a mobile phase, dissolved samples, chiral column regeneration.

Solvents that can be used, for example:

Positive phase: n-Hexane, IPA, EtOH

Special mobile phase: Ethyl acetate, CH 3 Cl, THF, MTBE

Reverse phase: H 2 O, IPA, MeOH 

Immobilized Polysaccharide Columns

Daicel immobilized columns exhibit greatly enhanced robustness and remarkable stability. These innovative products allow chromatographers to employ essentially any organic solvent as mobile phase to develop methods for the most challenging separations. The immobilized columns are used for applications ranging from analytical method development to large-scale enantiomer resolutions.

Driven by the need for increased productivity in the lab, Daicel Corporation has introduced the first sub-2 µm immobilized chiral columns, CHIRALPAK IA-U, CHIRALPAK IB-U, CHIRALPAK IC-U and CHIRALPAK IG-U. The ultrafast separations provided by sub-2 µm columns speed-up initial drug discovery and enable rapid high-throughput screening and method development. These columns are designed to be used with Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) systems to achieve ultrafast and high-resolution of enantiomers.

Column Storage

For column storage, remove the acidic or basic additives by flushing the column with the same mobile phase without the additive. Columns can be stored with the additive-free mobile phases. Operating these columns in accordance with the guidelines outlined here will result in a long column life

 

CHIRALPAK ® IA, CHIRALPAK ® IA-3, CHIRALPAK ®  IA-U solvent-resistant bonded chiral chromatography column, covalently bonded amylose-tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) on the surface of silica gel ). A wide range of solvents can be used with good tolerance, and various miscible organic solvents can be used as mobile phases to dissolve samples, and the chiral column can be regenerated. Provide micro-bore columns, analytical columns and semi-preparative columns of different specifications, and you can choose the appropriate specifications according to your experimental needs.
