CRYOGENIC USE
Subject to specific test for resistance to liquid nitrogen (-195,82°C) through contact for 1 minute and following bending test (RCT method).
The exposure to very low temperature can cause damages similar to burns. For this reason, cold resistant gloves and accessories should be manufactured with highly insulating materials. Ideal for extreme cold situations, related to industrial activities or climatic conditions. They can be employed during mechanical activities, carpentry, transport and construction, for low temperature down to -50° according to EN 511.
In presence of liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic gases, we design PPE with long-lasting insulating properties and high level of dexterity and waterproofness. They prevent hazards caused by contact cold and burns in case of leakage or splashes of liquid gases, in industrial or laboratory activities. These PPE have been tested with contact with liquid nitrogen (-195,32°C) for one minute and following flexibility test (RCT method).
Applications:
- Cold storage facilities
- Outdoor assembly work
- Cryogenic systems and laboratories: biology, medical technologies, scientific research
- Transport, loading, storage, pouring of liquid gases
In compliance with:
- EN 388 Protective gloves against mechanical risks
- EN 511 Protective gloves against cold
- Cryogenic use: specific test for resistance to liquid nitrogen (-195,32°C)
Do not dive directly in liquid nitrogen.
