    • Thermostats built into flameproof heaters set to 150ºC +/- 5ºC.
  • Over Temperature Control
    • There are two over temperature thermostats located in the head of the element on for the element head temperature set at 80°C. The second over temperature cut out is for the element/oil temperature, this is set to 175°C. Both these stats, in the event of a unit going over temperature, will need to be re-set manually by pressing the red button. A “click” should be heard on re-set.

The heater is constructed in stainless steel. It is designed to work in hazardous areas and has been finished to a high standard. The heater is immersed within a jacket of heat transfer oil and all controls are located within the housing of the element.


The heater is fitted with one FLP 240 Volt heating element with cables to take 15 amps. The element cable should be connected independently.


Warnings

The Oil level must be maintained at all times by the user for the conditions of safe use.

The flange plate must never be removed while the element is energised and NEVER in a hazardous area. This unit must be removed to a safe environment for maintenance.

The unit must never be moved whilst energised.

Safety and Operations

If the immersion heater is to be opened in the hazardous area, the electrical supply must be securely isolated.

Check the oil level before every use. To inspect, unscrew by hand the blanking plug which is situated at the top of the heater on the front left hand side.
